The Farm at Walnut Creek spreads over 120 acres of rolling hills in eastern Holmes County Ohio. The Farm is home to over 500 animals including dozens of exotics. While visiting the farm you can hand feed these animals from your car or horse drawn wagon. The majority of the animals roam freely through park approaching your food buckets when their hunger strikes! There is something for everyone each year at “The Farm at Walnut Creek’s Fall Festival,” located at Walnut Creek, Ohio during the Columbus Day weekend of Saturday, October 11 and Monday, October 13, 2014. The two day event will include food, fall decorations, horseshoeing, broom making, pumpkin slingshot, scavenger hunt, corn box, sheep shearing, spinning and the horse drawn wagon rides we are known for.
An activity that children of all ages really enjoy is the “corn box.” In the corn box traditional sand is replaced with corn for a sensory experience. Parents and grandparents will watch kids jump in, bury themselves and fill buckets with the dried corn. Read More>>
